Phil Ivey, 500 points

Often regarded as the best in the world, Ivey won three bracelets in 2002 and has five to his name in total. He's also back in tournament form with a WPT win in February 2008.

Allen Cunningham, 350 points

Mr Consistent has won a bracelet at each of the last three World Series becoming only the fifth player ever to win a bracelet at three World Series in a row, and the first since Erik Seidel in 1994.

Erik Seidel, 350 points

The pro's pro. Seidel epitomises the ‘get it quietly’ mentality. Seidel has seven bracelets which have come in five different disciplines. Has won a WPT event and finished second at the Aussie Millions in 2008.

Jennifer Harman, 200 points

Forget about Jennifer being one of the best female players in the world, she’s one of the best, male or female. The only woman to regularly play in the Big Game, Harman has two bracelets to her name.

Dave 'Devilfish' Ulliot, 150 points

Love him or loathe him the Devilfish has got talent; he’s also one of the only Brits likely to play the $10,000 championship events and be in Vegas for the whole six weeks.

Scotty Nguyen, 100 points

Whilst Scotty is best known for his No Limit Hold’em game, he’s also an accomplished all-rounder and has a four bracelets with two in Omaha eight or better and one in pot limit Omaha. Also, doesn’t play cash games so will be free to concentrate on tournaments.

David Williams, 150 points

This young gun came to the attention of the poker world when he finished second to Greg Raymer in the 2004 WSOP main event. Since then he’s won a bracelet of his own in Seven Card Stud and is an accomplished all-rounder.

Kenny Tran, 50 points

A high stakes cash game player, Tran made a splash last year when he finished fifth in the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E event. An aggressive player who is capable of making amazing calls.

Eli Elezra, 40 points

This right here is the steal of the century. If you don’t have Eli in your team you’ve made a mistake. A bracelet winner last year in seven card stud hi-low, this Big Game regular will be a force to be reckoned with in the $10,000 events.

Marcel Luske, 100 points

Although the flying Dutchman doesn’t have a bracelet to his name we’re hoping that’s all going to change this year. An accomplished Omaha and stud player, Marcel is one of Europe’s best hopes for a bracelet in any event he plays.
