Michael Mizrachi is in the money after pocketing $117,056 in winning the Mirage Poker Showdown $2,000 event.
Perhaps more importantly the victory also earns 'The Grinder' a seat in the $10,000 buy in World Poker Tour main event.
The heads up battle was between Mizrachi and Alex Prendes. Mizrachi moved all-in from the button with A-Q, and was called by pocket jacks.
An Ace came down on the flop and Prendes ' holding did not improve. Prendes picked up $58,528 for finishing second.
