After the success of the 2007 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, the GUKPT is set to continue in 2008 with nine £1,000 legs hosted in venues throughout the country, and a £3,000 final event in London towards the end of the year.
As with this year’s tour, each leg will take the form of a week long festival in participating Grosvenor casinos, in which there will be various side games in addition to the four-day £1,000 main event.
Players can win seats to any of these GUKPT tournaments by registering online for satellites with Blue Square Poker who sponsor the series, or by winning a seat through a live satellite tournament at a host casino.
There will also be the new ‘Link Event’ in July which is tournament that will be played simultaneously at all Grosvenor card rooms, and the largest pot-limit tourney in Europe - the Grosvenor Grand Prix. Full details of the GUKPT 2008 will be announced in the near future.
