The Poker Brat Phil Hellmuth makes his return to the PartyPoker.com Premier League IV

The lineup for the fourth PartyPoker.com Premier League is fast taking shape with the recent announcement that the Poker Brat Phil Hellmuth is set to return. Hellmuth has been an ever present in the previous three series but has had very mixed results in the popular show. As Hellmuth himself stated, "I am looking forward to playing in the Premier League and starting the new decade off on the right note! After being points leader in the Premier League in 2006, 2007 and 2008 I was relegated, and it is time to step up and claim a title".

Hellmuth's performances in last year's Premier League were dismal with only one win and two 6th place finishes in his six heats. However, while he may be inconsistent on the table Hellmuth is ratings gold for Premier League producers Matchroom Sport with his entertaining outbursts, blow-ups and table talk. It'll be interesting to see how he gets on in 2010's show after taking a lot of criticism for his lack of success throughout 2009.

Already announced for the upcoming season of Premier League poker are last year's champion JC Tran and 2009 tournament sensation Yevgeniy Timoshenko, who will be making his debut in the competition. For the first time ever this year's event will be filmed and staged in Las Vegas from February 12th-18th.

In an interesting twist PartyPoker.com are also offering the chance for one lucky online qualifier to join the 11 household names and play on the show. You can still qualify online now for the opportunity to win the $100,000 buy-in and take your seat alongside the game's biggest names. For more details go to PartyPoker.com.
