Canadian TV presenter and poker player Kara Scott becomes a fully-fledged member of Team Party

PartyPoker has recruited Canadian TV presenter and poker player Kara Scott to join Team Party alongside Mike Sexton, Remy Biechel, Ian Frazer, Felipe Ramos, Stewart Scott and Bodo Sbrzesny. She will represent PartyPoker in several Canadian Poker Tour events.

Scott will also continue her presenting duties, hosting the Premier League as it heads to Las Vegas in February for the first time. Scott actually kicked off her poker-playing career with a PartyPoker event - she won her first heat in the PartyPoker.com Women's World Open back in August 2007.

Since then it's been quite a ride for the native from Alberta, Canada. She finished runner up in the Irish Open last April and she's gone deep in the WSOP main event in two consecutive years. Her presenting duties have also increased in profile more and more - first she was EPT host and soon she'll be co-hosting High Stakes Poker alongside Gabe Kaplan.

You can catch Kara on the newest season of HSP from February.
