One of the key points in the piece of legislation that has just been passed by the House of Representatives in the US is the use of credit cards to facilitate online gambling.

The Bill is seeking to make that practice illegal, and perhaps in reponse to that, PartyPoker.com, whose shares fell this week in the light of legal developments, have announced a new method of payment.

payzone, the UK’s largest branded cash acceptance network, along with PartyPoker.com, have announced the launch of a prepaid PartyPoker.com e-voucher, available through payzone’s network of 25,000 terminals.

The new service, which is an exclusive UK branded network deal and is available now, will make online gambling safer and more secure for users as well as offering retailers generous commission rates on an industry sector worth over £50 billion a year.
