It was a desperate night for the PokerPlayer desperados. With a field of nearly 500 runners, four of the big guns were out well before the halfway point. From there another two managed to crack the 200 and only a lone shooter made the top 100 – and only just. Poor.

‘Dudek’ went first in 411th, followed by ‘Dicey’ in 370th whose A-K when shortstacked was beaten by A-J after his Kings ran into a flopped full house.

‘K_Unknown’ and ‘HillyFish’, fresh from his WSOP success in Vegas, followed closely after in 327th and 321st positions respectively .
