Dave “The Devilfish” Ulliott has emerged as the early favourite to win PartyPoker.com Premier League Poker, which starts filming at Maidstone Studios, Kent, UK, on 26 Monday February.

Bookmakers www.PartyBets.com have marked up “The Devilfish” as the 11/2 favourite to win ahead of ten-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth, who is 6/1.

A PartyPoker.com spokesman said: “The early interest has been in the ‘Fish’ and we had no choice but to make him the early favourite to win. One thing is odds-on though, Phil Hellmuth will not take this news well, we just hope he doesn’t spit his dummy out.”

The series, developed by Matchroom Sport, will feature 12 of the world’s best players playing in a unique league format for a $500,000 pot.
