Big Mouth Strikes Again

Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow: The Mouth served it up to Phil Hellmuth en route to victory

Mike “The Mouth” Matusow won the World Series of Poker Tournament Champions (TOC) held at Caesar’s Palace

The tournament was a juicy “freeroll,” meaning that no buy-in or fee was required by the participants. Unfortunately for us ordinary level players, entry was restricted to the top players in the world

Qualification for the tournament depended on either making the final table of the WSOP main event or finishing in the top twenty in one of the five WSOP Circuit events earlier this year.

Mike Matusow nicknamed “The Mouth” for his relentless table chatter pocketed a cool $1 million for his victory. Unsurprisingly with a tournament containing Matusow the competition was not without controversy.
