Cardrunners pro and nosebleed cash player Brian 'Stinger' Hastings drops in for a chat

Nick Wealthall and Kara Scott are in Monte Carlo for this latest edition of the On The Rail podcast, recording live and direct from one of the biggest events in world poker, the EPT Grand Final.

The show was recorded just a few days after Kara Scott's staggering run in the 2009 Irish Open, where she came 2nd for €312,000. Obviously, Nick and Kara have a few things to say about that before they move onto this episode's featured guest Brian 'Stinger' Hastings.

Hastings is one of the internet's leading cash game players, regularly winning in the nosebleed games online against players such as Gus Hansen and David Benyamine. That's all very impressive obviously but it's somewhat sickening to hear that he is still in university and does all this from the bedroom of his frat house!

In this great interview Nick Wealthall finds out how he manages to balance student life with $ 1,000,000 bankroll swings and also asks Hastings about why pot-limit Omaha seems to be taking over the world these days.
