GOLF Golf is a game you can never master, just like poker. It’s a perfect complement to poker. Poker’s an indoor game: you sit at the table. Golf gets us out there. It’s you against the golf course.

BAD BEATS That’s one of the things that people find really hard to swallow when it comes to poker. It’s not like basketball, where if you’re in the best basketball team, you’re going to win every game – that’s just not the case.

POKER Everyone feels like they know the optimum strategy, but I don’t know that anyone has figured it out perfectly yet. In ten years, the game might look completely different.

HIS FAVOURITE GAME I like playing a mixed game, frankly. Playing one game is monotonous. I like Omaha hi-lo, stud hi-lo and triple draw.

HIS LIFE CONTENTMENT ON A SCALE OF 1-10 Probably about a 7. Only because I feel a little overwhelmed right now. A little bit busy. There’s so much work for me to do to have that life that I dreamed of: family, golf days, relaxing, a beautiful home.

THE WSOP The World Champion of Poker is Chip Reese. It’s not Jamie Gold, despite him winning that tournament.

HIS LEGACY The most important thing would be for me to be viewed as one of the greatest players in the world.
