Munster's Paul O'Connell celebrates winning the Heineken Cup

A strong weekend for Fletch as he runs down his profits on the rugby, cricket and golf

Well it started wonderfully as the Hurricanes, who we backed at 5/2, went out and scored the first try leaving us a great opportunity to make some money there and then in the opening minutes. Perfect.

Then the Crusaders came back and dominated, but we had our trading profit for those that were up early - and from 5/2 it was a nice one.

Then the Waratahs did the decent thing and kept their unbeaten home record this season in Sydney and just about emasculated a poor Sharks.

Next week we do the final but more of that in midweek and Friday.

The England v New Zealand Test match cricket draw back continued on its merry way down, and by 11.30 on Saturday with NZ looking comfortable at the wicket, we were down at 1.8 and got to 1.53. We backed around at 3 so happy days.

So by midday on Saturday, we were very nicely in profit, with just the Finals of rugby to come.

The Heineken Cup final was a trading delight as both started around evens and in the first 25 minutes both had hit 1.7 and 2.5. Kerching!

Then Bath won the European Challenge Cup which was good for me as a fan but there was little action on the punting, so I watched Retief Goosen scrabble to the cut in the PGA Championship and then stride forward in rounds 3 and 4 to finish tied 6th for another handsome win. All in all a pretty special weekend punting and we are back on form.
