Tigers completed the first step towards a possible double trophy season by beating London Irish 10-9 in a thrilling Guinness Premiership final. Though it was closer than we wanted, our back of the Tigers came through for some easy profit.
Leicester Tigers vs London Irish, Saturday 5.15pm
There should be only one winner here and it is the in form Tigers. I felt Irish were lucky last week that the Quins fly-half Nick Evans played and was palpably unfit.
Tigers in contrast are rocking and rolling and in the front row and front five have a huge advantage.
Irish will need to get the ball away from these behemoths or they will have the life strangled out of them.
I am not going to bet on that though.
