Sir Clive Woodward might have fallen from his previous position as rugby union guru/ saviour, but, frankly, we couldn’t care less.
The Lions’ disastrously unsuccessful tour of New Zealand ended in three maulings from the All Blacks, but we were too busy counting our cash to notice. Richard Bath’s tips in IE16 proved spot on, the biggest winner being a buy of New Zealand’s points supremacy at 18, as the hosts ended up beating the Lions by 67 points.
Okay, we called Joe Rokocoko slightly wrong (we tipped him as top series try-scorer and he didn’t play), but that aside it was a successful tour.
