One freeroll down and a trip to Prague is on the cards for one lucky reader…
52 of you played the first Everest freeroll, with a $500 prize pool. The fantastically-named clungerine took the honours, with a bankroll boost of $75 and top spot on the mini leaderboard. There are three tournaments left – two $10 buy-in events and another freeoll. At the end of the four tournaments the person with the most cash will win the €800 package to Everest Poker Live in Prague. The €800 package includes entry to the €250+€25 main event, plus three night’s accommodation at a four-star hotel, €175 expenses and entry into the €50 welcome event.
If you didn’t play last night make sure you register now. Download the software from EverestPoker.com and set up a real money account, then look for the PokerPlayer Prague tournaments in the Specials section of the lobby. The password is in the current issue of PokerPlayer, which you can buy from iTunes by clicking here. You can subscribe for as little as £1 an issue, which will get you entry into a year’s worth of our fantastic freerolls and promotions, as well as getting you 12 issues of the world’s best poker mag.
Remember, you’ll have more chance of winning the package if you enter all four tournaments. If you make a first deposit of $25 with Everest you’ll get $11 free along with a 100% match bonus up to $50, so you can play the first buy-in event on us!

Really enjoyed it last night – although I got lucky early on sucking out on KK with 88 (or 55, can’t remember which it was), I mostly played well I thought. Glad you liked my name (clungerine) – it’s a bit of a nod to the inbetweeners, but is also a word we used to use at work that made us laugh. Looking forward to the next one now – I think the buy-in events are the ones that are really going to make the difference to that leaderboard so I’m going to have to try to get lucky again
